tangier landing

about

last year i was having a recurring dream about being a passenger on a small plane and landing in the early morning hours on a deserted path somewhere outside tangier, a city that i have long been wanting to visit, but have yet to experience. a man and a woman greet me and give me a small cup of the strongest, darkest coffee I have ever had and I sip it and it’s glorious. then we go to a cafe, sit down and they give me a book that is titled and written in a language I cannot read. we sit and watch people walk by and talk to their cats all day and drink copious amounts of tea and red wine. i feel at peace. I have no idea what any of this means, truthfully. it’s pleasant enough, and so i’m sharing it with you. maybe we are trying to continuously capture the memory of something that only ever existed in our imaginations. who am i to say? enjoy the music, and eternal love to you all for your ongoing support.
